Pademangan Asked to Improve Water Channel Monitoring

North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau, conducted a working visit to Pademangan Sub-district in a bid to monitor the readiness of the sub-district ranks in facing the upcoming rainy season and anticipating fire at the end of dry season.

He also asks urban village ranks in the area to tightly monitor cleanliness of the water channel.

Pademangan Sub-district Head, Mumu Mutjahid explained that last year there were ten puddle-prone areas that consist of five areas in Pademangan Barat, three areas in Pademangan Timur, and two other areas in Ancol.

"Since mid-2017, various handlers have been done to overcome the inundation. Thank God, there was no puddle last week's rain. I hope similar situation also occurs when the rainy peak comes," he hoped.
